Hi, my name is

Sharon Bryant!

Passionate Gameplay Engineer

Feel free to connect with me on my LinkedIn, I'm available to do some work!

About Me

I worked as a software engineer at AWS before pursuing a career in the game industry! I've always loved playing and watching others play games, so it's awesome to be able to work on projects that bring people so much joy :)

A core memory of mine will always be shooting the ⭐ stars ⭐ in Mario Galaxy while playing with my Dad. I hope someday my work can help cultivate that same feeling in the people who play games I contribute to.

I am currently an Associate Gameplay Engineer at Midsummer Studios working on an unannounced life sim project. In my freetime, I occasionally film and/or dance in k-pop cover projects at KQD Crew

Here are a few technologies I've built some expertise in:
  • Unreal Engine
  • C++
  • Perforce
  • EC2 services
  • Git
  • Kotlin

Some notable public customers of the Outposts team are the Nasdaq, FanDuel, Riot - Valorant (who now uses Local Zones, a sister team).

    I developed an automated testing stack using AWS CloudFormation to execute custom Bash scripts to heavily reduce manual test efforts. I implemented a Route Table Compaction Log that was part of a bigger initiative to enable partial updates to Outpost hardware making message processing up to 25% faster for customers.
